A dental marketing agency helps a clinic attract and book new patients: improving local search and Google Business Profile visibility, building or fixing the website, running Google Ads, setting up call and form tracking, managing reviews, and reporting on results. A good one measures booked appointments, not just clicks and rankings.
The dental marketing agency built for booked patients.
We help dental clinics turn Google traffic into tracked patient appointments.
One clinic per areaWe take a single practice per market and work only for them. If your area is taken, we will say so rather than compete against our own client.

Tell us where the practice is today. We look at your profile, your treatment pages and how inquiries are tracked, then say what to fix first.
Dental marketing is hard to measure when everything is disconnected.
Most clinics invest in websites, ads, or SEO — but cannot connect calls, forms, bookings, and reviews back to marketing channels. ScaleUp Dental fixes that with a connected system built for clinics across Canada and the United States.
What a dental marketing agency should actually do for your clinic
Most dental marketing agencies sell activity: posts, rankings, and monthly reports full of clicks. ScaleUp Dental is a dental-only marketing agency for clinics across Canada and the United States, and we judge our work by a different number: how many patients book.
That means looking at the whole path a patient takes, from the Google search to the phone call to the confirmed appointment, and fixing the weakest step first. Sometimes that is SEO or Google Ads. Often it is the website, the booking path, or calls nobody returns.
Our approach is built on research. In our study of 213 Canadian dental clinic websites, keyword coverage was associated with organic traffic far more strongly than backlink authority: a correlation of +0.88 versus +0.36. Read the 213-clinic study
- Dental only: we work with dental clinics and nothing else, so we know the treatments, the patient questions, and the advertising rules.
- One connected system: SEO, Google Ads, websites, online booking, call tracking, reviews, secure forms, and reporting work together instead of as separate deliverables.
- Reporting that separates stages: an inquiry, a booking request, and a confirmed appointment are counted separately, so you can see what actually fills the schedule.
- Published pricing: plans run from $400 to $3,500 per month, and website setup is $1,250 one-time with a year of hosting included. AI search optimization is included in the two larger plans. Ad spend and third-party tools are always quoted separately.
- No guarantees we cannot keep: nobody controls Google rankings or patient decisions, so we never promise them.

Generative engine optimization is the work of being a source those answers cite. We build it into the Patient Growth and Practice Scale plans rather than selling it as an extra, because it targets different queries than local search work — and because the clinics that treat it as an afterthought are invisible at the research stage.
- AI crawler access check — rare (we measured 2% of Canadian dental sites) but fatal to citation if it is you

- Entity and structured data so the practice resolves, rather than being guessed at
- Citation monitoring tracked over time, not a one-off screenshot

Professional, market-aware messaging for Canadian and U.S. clinics
- We improve visibility and local SEO — we do not guarantee first-page rankings or #1 map placement.
- We focus on measurable patient inquiries and tracked appointment opportunities — not guaranteed patients or revenue.
- CDCP pages use clinic-approved wording for clinics that actually accept CDCP; we never imply treatment is free.
- Secure forms support PIPEDA-aware and HIPAA-aware workflows through trusted third-party platforms — not self-hosted medical data without proper infrastructure.

Common questions from clinic owners
It varies widely by scope and market. Canadian dental agencies that publish rates sit roughly between $500 and $5,000 a month, and SEO-only retainers in Toronto commonly start around $2,000. Our plans run from $400 per month for local search foundations to $3,500 for a full system, with website setup at $1,250 one-time including a year of hosting. Ad spend and third-party software are separate. Whatever agency you consider, ask exactly what is included and how results will be measured.
Ask what they will publish or change in the first months, how they will show which calls and forms became patients, what happens to your website and accounts if you leave, and whether they promise rankings. Be cautious of guarantees, long lock-in contracts, and reports that only show traffic.
We are dental-focused and serve clinics across Canada and the United States. We connect SEO, ads, websites, booking, call tracking, reviews, and reporting into one measurable patient acquisition system — not isolated deliverables.
Generative engine optimization is the work of becoming a source that AI-generated answers cite, rather than only ranking in the links below them. It overlaps with good SEO but is not the same job. We measured 100 Canadian dental keywords: 94% of cost and insurance questions and 92% of treatment comparison questions now return a Google AI Overview, while searches naming a city return one only 10% of the time. So local search still decides local visibility, and GEO addresses the research stage before it. It is included in our Patient Growth and Practice Scale plans rather than sold separately.
Technically yes in Canada, but for most single-location clinics it is not worth doing yet. ChatGPT ads went live for Canadian advertisers in April 2026, and as of October 2026 campaign geography is country-level only — there is no province, city or postal-code targeting, and no demographic or remarketing audiences. A Toronto practice would be paying to reach all of Canada. Our Practice Scale plan covers the quarterly platform watch and switches campaigns on when sub-national targeting arrives; multi-location groups with national reach can run it today. Until then, earning citations in AI answers is the better use of the same budget.
A practical review of your Google Business Profile, website conversion, reviews, competitors, and tracking gaps — with a recommendation mapped to the right plan for your stage.
No. We improve visibility and conversion with ethical, compliant language and focus on tracked patient opportunities — qualified calls, forms, and booking requests.
Starter Visibility is $400 per month for local search foundations. Dental Website Setup is $1,250 one-time with the first year of hosting included. Patient Growth is $2,000 per month for connected SEO, AI search optimization, ads and tracking. Practice Scale is $3,500 per month, adds AI ad platform management and citation monitoring, includes the website setup, and comes with one-clinic-per-area exclusivity. The two recurring rates are founding client pricing, locked for the first three practices.
Google Ads spend, third-party software, hosting, and custom development are quoted separately unless explicitly included in your agreement.
Yes — for clinics that accept CDCP and approve compliant page content. We never imply treatment is free or guarantee coverage outcomes.
